The Trust is a body with different types of memberships. The members include Permanent Trustees, Life Members and Ordinary Members. The membership in the Trust is open to all Hindus, based on the registered deed of the Trust, subject to the final decision of the Governing Body of the Trust. The powers of the Trust is vested with the Board of Trustees of the Trust consisting of Permanent Trustees and Temporary Trustees selected from the Life Members and Ordinary Members. The maximum number of Permanent Trustees and Temporary Trustees allowed as per the rule is 25 and 6 respectively. There is no limit regarding the number of Life Members and Ordinary Members. Any Hindu who donates an amount of Rs.1 lakh and above within a year is eligible to become trustee of the Trust, any Hindu who donates an amount of Rs.10,000/- and above but less thanRs.1 lakh in a year is eligible to become life Member of the Trust and any hindu who donates rupees 10000/- in a year is eligible to become ordinary member of the trust. The membership of the Trust is subject to approval by the Board of Trustess. All decisions pertaining to the Trust are taken in the meeting of the Board of Trustees subject to the conditions laid down in the by-law of the Trust. The decisions regarding the Temple are taken by the Board of Trustees on the basis of opinion formed in the general body meeting of the Trust including the Trustees, life members, ordinary members and the devotees.

The amount of offering / pooja can be paid by the devotees directly to the account of the Keezhthali Sree Mahadeva Kshethra Devaswom Trust with State Bank of India, Varavoor Branch.
